Beatriz Sousa

My name is Beatriz Sousa, and I am a Biochemistry Master’s student in University of Beira Interior. 

My work aims to evaluate the biological properties of essential oils extracted from aromatic plants and to explore the disinfectant potential of Thymus zygis essential oil against Listeria monocytogenes. This work has been developed under the supervision of Professor Susana Ferreira and co-supervision of Professor Ana Paula Duarte and Doctor Alexandra Coimbra.
