Inês Martins

Inês Martins started her doctoral program in Biomedicine at the University of Beira Interior, where she also completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biomedical Sciences. Her research is devoted to the resistance potential of Aliarcobacter butzleri, taking interest in the role of subclinical antibiotic concentrations in the selection of multidrug-resistant mutants, with a focus on a One Health perspective. The development of her project is done in collaboration with the National Institute of Health Dr. Ricardo Jorge, being supervised by Professor Susana Ferreira and co-supervised by Doctors Mónica Oleastro and Alexandra Nunes.
